Caroline Robillard B. Ing. Business Analyst

Having obtained her industrial engineering bachelor degree with an award of excellence, in parallel to being strongly involved in several students committees in different roles throughout the years (VP Finances, VP Marketing, President), Caroline joins DBC as a supply chain business analyst and is eager to take on new challenges! She has past experiences in the industry at Moderco, Mine Canadian Malartic and Olymel.

Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in value-added production from Polytechnique Montréal, Caroline boasts unparalleled student involvement through a wide range of volunteer roles in various committees. She made her mark as vice president of the Industrial Engineering Student Committee, later serving as the committee’s president.

While at Polytechnique, she participated in the development of Poly-L’s mission on both a small and large scale as vice-president of marketing, a role tailor-made for Caroline as she felt a responsibility to promote strong female leadership. To satisfy her intellectual curiosity, she joined Moderco and developed a new plant production line that is still in operation.

On the business process side, she mapped processes to improve human resource management and proposed preventive maintenance plans for equipment at Canadian Malartic Mine, the largest open-pit gold mine in Canada.

At Olymel, Caroline participated in the mapping of production processes in order to standardize work methods in several plants, as well as in the collection of expertise of all kinds of resources with the goal of facilitating access to training and information. Caroline’s positive impact is felt wherever she goes, as her contributions never fail to be substantial and deeply appreciated.

Highly organized, she can easily adapt to new environments and excels in problem solving. While she deftly juggles the resources, constraints, and challenges of integration projects, her adherence to deadlines is no less admirable. Valued for her emotional intelligence, Caroline excels at building rewarding relationships between project members. She also specializes in procurement and inventory management in the ERP world. Fastidious and results-oriented, she is passionate about and energized by chain optimization.

To decompress, she finds refuge in her kitchen, where she bakes Portuguese tarts or salted caramel brownies to satisfy her sweet tooth. She also loves working with her hands through sewing, embroidery, and painting. Climbing, swimming, and badminton are some of her favourite ways to stay healthy and active.
