A member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, Niège holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande along with a Master’s degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, also in Chemical Engineering.
As a proud recipient of several research grants, she devotes a portion of her studies to R&D (Research & Development) activities, including the creation of new materials made from industrial waste. She also focuses on the deployment of new processes and products in the pharmaceutical field.
Known for her engaging presentations, Niège is organized and curious, always driven by her penchant for problem-solving and fostering a deep understanding of her clients’ needs. Her career trajectory has included an increasingly varied series of challenges and responsibilities, particularly in the water treatment field, in which she has served as a project manager, Cégep lecturer, private consultant, technical officer, and specialist. Her expertise has led her to manage 47 simultaneous projects, at times complex in nature, while supervising an 8-person team.
In the world of furniture manufacturing, she served as an internal sales manager before joining a SAP ERP integration project as a superuser. Soon after, she began her time as a BPO (Business Process Owner). Niège took charge of the entire order-to-cash and master data process, varying configuration, customer service, and C4C (Cloud for Customer). She also built the Continuous Improvement and Product Development Management (PLM) departments as Senior Director, with a team of 38 people under her supervision.
She then made the jump to DBC, this time as a project manager. We greatly appreciate her caring and compassionate approach, not to mention her incredible talent!
Niège is a die-hard dek hockey fan and never misses a chance to enjoy snowboarding, hiking, and family trips.
