Graduated in industrial engineering, Katrine is passionate about two topics (among others!): consulting and Big Data. So she joined DBC in order to meeting both passions. Autonomous, listening to her customers and having had the chance to prove her leadership in multiple pccasions, she now focuses on data management.
Following in the footsteps of her grandfather, an engineer like herself, Katrine is proud to have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal.
Katrine began helping out in the family business at the age of 12. Her early interactions with customers taught her the importance of quality service, where sales are only satisfactory if customers are delighted with their purchases.
Hired in the health care network during her studies at Cégep, she undertook a complete overhaul of work documents due to a desire to improve operations management. This proved to be a prelude to her next job in the aerospace industry, where she was faced with major change management challenges in the world of aeronautics. This position harkened back to her of her role as a consultant for the Polytechnique’s Management Consulting Committee (CCGP) in business acquisition strategy. Her proven expertise in data analysis supported the development of business intelligence reports during her time with a Canadian robotics company.
With a deep passion for programming, big data, and master data management, Katrina is dedicated to staying at the industry’s cutting edge through continued training, readings, and conferences. Never hesitant to seek advice and apply experienced managers’ best practices, she is highly receptive to constructive feedback and determined to improve as much as possible. A true team player, Katrina is known for her remarkable interpersonal skills as well as her entrepreneurial spirit and ability to get things done.
In her spare time, she loves enjoying cold season activities such as downhill and cross-country skiing, never shying away from new challenges and adventures.
