Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the project's success. The role is crucial to the planning, execution, and achievement of objectives for all project sub-teams. Thanks to their global vision, the Project Manager receives, filters, and applies information from all project stakeholders to make appropriate decisions.As a Project Manager, you are the point of contact for project activities!
Responsibilities
- Lead the SAP deployment project from conception and planning to execution;
- Set clear and achievable objectives;
- Manage project scope, budget, and schedule;
- Lead, motivate, and mobilize the project team;
- Analyze team members’ workloads and adjust involvement as needed;
- Support requirements gathering and business process documentation;
- Manage the relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external customers, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues with the aim of managing expectations in relation to project requirements and deliverables;
- Ensure that the change plan is implemented and executed;
- Report on project progress to the steering committee and to the team itself;
- Ensure that risks are identified and action plans determined;
- Ensure that project issues are appropriately resolved;
- Act as a point of contact for project team members to resolve any problems during project execution;
- Ensure that the project meets the customer’s expectations in terms of benefits;
- Gather lessons learned and adjust project planning and execution accordingly;
- Ensure that the quality control process is carried out and obtain approval of project deliverables;
- Work in collaboration with external firms.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience as an ERP project manager;
- Proven leadership skills;
- Relevant university degree or equivalent (e.g. PMP);
- Fluency in French and English (verbal and written), Microsoft office software packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) and project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday, Microsoft Project, others) is required.
