Go-live Jefo Nutrition

As part of the 2023 Polaris ERP implementation project, DBC had the chance to team up with Jefo Nutrition, a family-owned Quebec company specializing in animal nutrition solutions. The objective? Implement SAP S/4HANA software to support our client’s ambitions and growth via the following modules: Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), Quality Management (QM), Inventory Management (IM) and Transport Management (TM).

Several DBC players were on hand to assist Jefo in project management, data governance and purchasing planning. Their responsibilities included overall project management, data conversion, testing cycles, deployment management and MRP parameters determination. Team members also provided post-implementation support. DBC distinguished itself by committing to the client’s values and adapting to Jefo’s existing methodologies.

Determined to support Jefo closely, the DBC team were mobilized on site in Saint-Hyacinthe, every week, to ensure cohesion and easy communication with the members of the project. Support was also offered in person, at their office in Nantes, France for 3 weeks.

DBC embraced the challenge of a 10-month Big Bang implementation, carried out in a complex organizational structure of 48 sites spread across the globe. A considerable undertaking.

For its part, Jefo demonstrated its commitment to its staff by supporting change management throughout the project. The involvement and constant support of 102 people was a key factor in this successful implementation. The company showed great resilience, with many sacrifices paying off across the board. This implementation was a great adventure, and DBC is delighted to have steered it to success.
